Lake District in Cumbria is without a doubt the most beautiful place in England i visited so far .
The weather wasn't great but i went there in winter for a reason - no tourists .. peace and quiet, no buses, no people, no mobile phones. Highly recommended
You had on this trip to Cumbria something, what I want to have now - wonderful scenery. I've always associated that specific scenery with this season, firts moments of spring. Now I dont have that scenery, but poetry of Lake Poets (or Jane Austen's novel), music of The Cure (or other New Wave band) and desk in the park (or balcony ;) - just kidding)can be good for me now. I like it
